Obey Clothing
Obey was born from the beautiful mind of Shepard Fairey , an art student who created a graphic inspired by wrestler Andre the Giant in 1989 - it had no particular purpose other than to experiment with new concepts and spread his artistic ideas, but this sticker quickly became an incredible media sensation, which led to the founding of Obey Clothing in 2001 - clothing became another canvas to spread his art and message to the people. The collections are heavily inspired by classic military design, workwear staples , as well as the cultural elements and movements of punk, skateboarding and streetwear , on which Shepard has based his artistic career. Obey Clothing is today a benchmark in streetwear fashion.
